Brain, why won't you let me sleep?

Had a sleepless night because my brain began to unveil a story to me, vividly and in great detail. And yes, new story, I'm grateful and all, but did it have to happen at night? *grumbles*

It was inspired by the CotW rewatch chat, but also matches a vague bunny I already had in my list of story ideas. And it's in Buck POV, so I'll see if I can get it written before the Leslie Nielsen Buck Frobisher Memorial Thing-a-thon ends.

I'm heading south with the overnight train tonight to spend the holidays with my family. The train sadly has no internet, but I have plenty to do anyway. And I'll be bringing extra food, water and heavy clothing, because it's been snowing all weekend and it's still snowing like it's never going to stop. There's a high probability that there will be delays, and I know that there have been cases when the train got stuck somewhere and lost power and got cold.

My Yuletide story is not posted yet, but will be during the day. *hopes that the archive will not break*

Well, thankfully it's not always that way! I'm definitely not a night person, so it's quite annoying when it happens.

Hee, Luz! I happen to have stayed up way past my bedtime too because there's this bunny that just keeps spinning a story in my head.

I know, right? It can be pretty cool, but also really annoying. I did write 800 words of the story today, though, so that's a win.

And yes, I did arrive safely! The train was three hours late, but I'd expected something like that. *hugs back*
