Deleting my LJ

I have finally gotten around to deleting my LJ! \o/ The only thing I couldn't decide is whether I should delete community entries. I'm leaning towards not, because there could be communities that someone wants to import to DW that have my entries in them. What have other people done here?

Also, I have followed sage's example and created a mod journal luzula_mod for any remaining import issues.

I did not delete entries to comms (at least, I hope I didn't :) ). I feel like that's a way to preserve some history while (theoretically) getting out of having LJ have one's personal info.

I dunno, I think they still have what personal info they had of me. There's nothing stopping them from actually saving what they had of me, even if they say that they delete it. For me it's more a way of protesting against their policies by (in a small way) making them have less online content and thus less traffic.
