A weird and specific health issue

So for the past week or so, whenever I take a hot shower, I feel a very localized pain inside my body five centimeters to the left of my belly button. What on earth? I also sometimes feel a twinge of it if I've eaten a lot and am full, but not when I exercise.

...anyone heard of/experienced this?

That's got me mystified! Is it getting in the way of sleeping/walking/thinking? Is the eating twinge worse with fatty meals? (If yes, it could conceivably be gall-bladder-related.)

In your shoes I'd call the nurse line to ask for advice, if such exists.

Not a health professional, but could it be diverticulitis?

(The gall bladder is on the right side, just below the rib cage.)

When I had that, it was constipation. Which shocked me, because I hadn't noticed anything odd, but it turns out one can have serious problems in that direction before anything is noticeable. Try taking a fiber supplement and see if it helps?

I've never had it, but it sounds like maybe diverticulitis.
