Ta da! I feel like I have done a fannish service in writing the first fic for this very slashy book. My thanks go to Garonne, who gave me such good beta feedback on the story that I actually don't mind that very few people will probably read it (because talk about rare fandom). : )

ETA: I felt kind of weird posting this just before Yuletide, given that I requested this fandom! But after shaking the tree, I have determined that there are no fics in this fandom yet, so at least someone is not writing it as my main gift.

When I go to the library today, I'm going to check the database for this book, but book or no book I want to read this fic.

Awww. <3 Actually I've recorded it as an audiobook that will soon be up at Librivox, so you can listen to that if you like! I should be able to post about that any day soon. I mean, it is still not as good as Flight of the Heron, but definitely worth my time recording it. Or it's on Gutenberg if you prefer that.

Also, I think you should be able to read the fic without knowing canon, as well, though it will spoil you for much of the ending.

Got to the library and did a search for Flemington in the database. No copy here, but in the weird way that the electronic database works, I was given a suggestion for a book about "Giant Flemish Rabbits". *giggles*

Anyways, TYK for the Gutenberg link and also for telling me that I should be able to read the fic even before I know the canon (I don't have any issues about book spoilers).

Well, I don't know if I'll be writing more! I do feel that there should also exist a Flemington/Logie fic in the world, but to do that in a meaningful way, it would probably have to be canon divergence and have a more complicated plot, instead of just a relatively uncomplicated missing scene like this one.
