And ooh, will definitely listen to that! I'm so glad she's finally posted it, and what a cool way to do meta. Ha, poor Linden, I sent her grammar notes on that fic that were basically photographs of a paper that I'd scrawled notes on. *facepalm*

Yeah IDK if the meta really found an audience, but we had fun at least *shrug* Lol, she didn't even tell me that! I think we've been quite mean betas. But yes, it's so lovely to finally see it posted :)

ETA: you know what, I tried watching one of those French-subbed dS episodes, and they weirded me out? Not the fact that they were speaking French, but that those weren't their voices? Like, I'd happily listen to Paul Gross speaking French as Fraser, but someone else's voice coming out of his mouth? Weird to me. But then, I'm not used to subs at all--Swedish is too small a language to have them.

At first, they were very weird to me too! Especially RayV. And I miss so much of the nuance, especially with French!Fraser. PG's delivery is just BETTER. Well, that's true of all three main guys, I guess. (although the "You're my partner and my friend" scene in Asylum was 100% more seductive and sexy in French) I prefer them in English, but sometimes the French translations are hilarious, and I just like the practice.
