I won't even try to go back through my whole reading list, so if there's anything I've missed that I should know or that you think I would enjoy, please do link me! (I will be checking ds_noticeboard, so no need to tell me about dS/C6D stuff.)

I don't think I've done anything interesting enough to mention, except a handful of due South ficlets/snippets that I didn't link at the noticeboard. A couple of them might be up your alley.

ETA: you know what, I tried watching one of those French-subbed dS episodes, and they weirded me out? Not the fact that they were speaking French, but that those weren't their voices? Like, I'd happily listen to Paul Gross speaking French as Fraser, but someone else's voice coming out of his mouth? Weird to me. But then, I'm not used to subs at all--Swedish is too small a language to have them.

At first, they were very weird to me too! Especially RayV. And I miss so much of the nuance, especially with French!Fraser. PG's delivery is just BETTER. Well, that's true of all three main guys, I guess. (although the "You're my partner and my friend" scene in Asylum was 100% more seductive and sexy in French) I prefer them in English, but sometimes the French translations are hilarious, and I just like the practice.
