I forgot to include this in the last post, but: Write Every Day continues over at trobadora's in January, so head on over there for your writing accountability and encouragement!
My last WED post! I'll edit the final tally into this post later. Happy New Year, everyone!
Wrote 200 words of new fic (and got the species list to 285). How about you? And did you reach your goals for the month, if you had any? I guess I reached my goals, which were simply to write something every day.
300 words of new fic, which is going reasonably well. (Species list now at 256, so I succeeded in my goal of getting it over 250 before New Year! \o/) How about you?
The guests have gone. It was lovely to host them, but also a relief when they left! I wrote 200 words of longfic and edited the chapter, sending it off to beta. (In non-writing news, I also got the species list for my farm property up from 221 to 235 species! I aim to reach 250 species before New Year, which ought to be possible...)
And more Christmas! However, I wrote a comment on my Yuletide fic and also 100 words of longfic. How about you? (Also, someone commented anonymously on the last post--let me know who you are and I'll put you in the tally.)
I am eating my homemade yoghurt and watching the dawn over the lake. It is the calm before the storm (the storm being when my sister and her husband and kids get up, and my housemate and her mom gets up, and then my parents arrive). But it is lovely to be able to host so many people at my new place!
Alibi sentence yesterday due to Christmas preparations. How about you?
Beta-read a story for a friend and then had a Zoom talk about it. Also wrote 200 words of longfic. How about you?
In other news, the ginger beer I made has really evolved over time after bottling. It is now much less sweet and more carbonated (which is not surprising given what yeast does) but also most of the ginger taste is gone (which is surprising to me), leaving behind a more bitter taste. In fact, it now tastes almost exactly like a dry tonic! Huh.
