1. I was remixed! I'd almost forgotten that I'd signed up as a remixee at remixthedrabble, but yesterday I was very happily surprised by two wonderful remixes of my work: Lost Voices (Blood On The Snow Remix) by akamine_chan, and Five of Hearts (Bittersweet Remix) by kernezelda. It's cool to see your story through another person's eyes, and I loved what the remix authors did with the stories.

2. I got an article accepted for publication (my second one)! I quote the referee: The possibility to treat bundle-valued forms is quite new (it is due to the first author) and very interesting. First author = me. \o/

3. Okay, so did you know that dolphins have gay sex? By inserting their penis into the other dolphin's blowhole? See, the term "blowjob" actually makes sense there. I've always wondered why it was called that.

4. wrisomifu rocks. It's actually very motivating with that daily check-in post.

3. I did know this! They also have prehensile penises, and like to pick things up with them. Dolphins also do a thing distressingly called beak-genital propulsion. The females seem to favour this.

It is cool! Though the term, despite its accuracy, kind of makes me O_o. I think it's the "propulsion" part. Heh.

You should read Biological Exuberance (http://www.amazon.ca/Biological-Exuberance-Homosexuality-Natrual-Diversity/dp/031225377X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227198269&sr=8-1). It's a very interesting book.

There's actually a museum exhibit at the Natural History Museum in Stockholm now that's based on that book. I saw the dolphin thing in an article about the exhibit. Yeah, now I feel like reading the book.
