Was travelling and didn't get much writing done--and in particular, forgot to bring my Yuletide draft with me, oops! But I did write each day:

Day 1 - 120 words

Day 2 - 358 words

Day 3 - 166 words

Day 4 - 100 words

Day 5 - 143 words

Day 6 - 690 words

Oh no, sorry you couldn't work on your Yuletide draft! (I don't think I could forget to bring my draft as such, since it's in cloud storage. I hope you back up your stuff! : ) )

But good job getting writing done while traveling. \o/

Yes, I do have plenty of backups, fortunately :)

But the only device I took when travelling was a smartphone with no internet access, onto which I had forgotten to side-load the fic file from my computer.

It's quite good for distraction-free writing, but of course only when I remember to put the file on it...

Ah, I see! : ) Yes, I also use situations with no internet to get writing done, such as on public transport with my laptop.

Day 6: lolsob only 150 words on linguistics sci fantasy, but in fairness I had THREE appointments today and was running around town, so this may be another low wordcount day.

A math horror story, hmm? I'm a mathematician, so of course I'm curious now...

*reads call* I feel like mathematicians going crazy is already such a prominent part of popular culture! Like, almost always when mathematicians are characters in films, they have some mental illness or they are geniuses that no ordinary person can understand, or the like. When in fact mathematicians are just ordinary people going to their jobs every day. Or at least no more or less ordinary than people with any other job/specialty.
