Dec 24: More baking today, but first I filled a (very old!) prompt over on tumblr. Or will have filled, when I post it.

Three kinds of cookies, a pie, and brandy cream sauce for it.

Which doesn't feel like an enormous amount of baked goods? I do not know HOW my mom did six kinds of cookies back in the day in quantities enough to mail to all the relatives and have cookies left still for us, AND still do two pies, brandy cream sauce, etc., AND hold down a job and raise kids.

YAY! Congrats on posting! YAY! :-)

On Day 24, I added 309 words to the cynical Rudolph retelling. I might get time later to finish it, since that seems appropriate given the date, but I have a ton of wrapping to get through first, so we'll see.

ETA: I find a bit of time after wrapping to write the conclusion, for a total of 409 words for the day, and it's finished!

24 December -- got the third set of stories revealed for the Highlander fest, briefly contemplated trying to write a yuletide treat at the very last minute and decided not to make myself crazy. I do plan to post the one madness drabble before I go to bed so I don't have to worry about it tomorrow.
