Hello! Given that you leave me some of the best feedback (more than once now, too), and that I still go back to the podfic you made of my "Rough Diamond" (I love that you say things differently than I would; it's like this work I knew inside out suddenly acquired the power to still surprise me, and that's shiny and wondrous), I'd like to friend you, if you don't mind. It would make stalking you wonderfully convenient!

Oral storytelling traditions are, indeed, always fun. It's really nifty for me how the experience of the story changes with different tellers.

I love due South; I have never written in the fandom, but I read there occasionally. And obviously, I am all for things inspired by folk ballads and fairy tales. As for myself, I am very multifannish; I have written in more than a dozen fandoms, and I still think of them all as active. But yes, I am probably best known over in the Firefly corner of lj, largely because I take so many shifts on [livejournal.com profile] crack_van (nicely spotted, by the way!). I also do original fiction, sometimes from reworked fairy tales, sometimes in original fantasy or sci-fi settings.
