First off, some statistics:
My best podfic(s) of this year: I think I've recorded a lot of good podfic this year! If I have to pick a few, perhaps the Austen podfic The Poignant Sting, and also C/Fe--it was unexpectedly fun to find a voice for Daneel the robot. Oh, and also Bright Moon, Who Goes Farther Still, which has just the sort of fairy tale flavor I love to read.
My favourite podfic of this year: I can't choose! I'm actually very fond of all the long rare fandom podfics I did for Amplificathon. I'm totally doing that again.
Podfic most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Come With Me, I think. I'm really happy with my Victoria voice in it, but I didn't get any comments on it. Of course, Fraser/Victoria angst isn't for everybody, so I think I had fewer listeners because of that. And in general I don't think I'm underappreciated at all! I am very happy about the feedback I get. ♥
Most fun podfic to record: Unexpected Rough Patch in the Road, because it was so much fun to collaborate with
helens78.
Sexiest podfic: Definitely What's a Good Friend to Do?. It's all porn!
Podfic with the single sexiest moment: Tongue Tied, I think.
Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" podfic: Nothing, I think? Maybe I should remove this question; I never know how to answer it.
Podfic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Hmm, can't think of one.
Hardest podfic to record: A tie between Volcanic Geranium, which was hard because of all the snappy dialogue, and How the Ray Was Won, which was hard because I can't seem to get a handle on Ray Vecchio's voice. I did finally learn to read Frannie, though, which is great.
Biggest Disappointment: I don't think there is one?
Biggest Surprise: Rediscovering how much fun it is to read poetry aloud. I recorded one piece of fannish poetry, The World You Crave, but I also recorded some poetry for Librivox.
Most Unintentionally Telling Podfic: I don't know? The Kropotkin book probably reveals a lot about my political opinions.
Looking back, did you record more podfic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? About what I'd hoped.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you record that you would never have predicted in January 2011? The Kropotkin book for Librivox, I think. I've enjoyed it and it's been a learning experience, but I'm also looking forward to getting back to podfic.
Did you take any risks this year? What did you learn from them? I collaborated on a podfic, which was fun and I want to do it again. I also began to experiment with using sounds other than my voice, on Bright Moon, Who Goes Farther Still and No Second Coming. On the first one I recorded a bit of birdsong to divide the different sections, and on the other I used a clip from freesound.
Do you have any podfic goals for the New Year? Yes! I have a long list of potential fics to record.
I'd like to thank the academy... I'm very grateful to my beta listeners:
malnpudl,
andeincascade,
podcath,
crinklysolution, and
helens78. In fact, I am coming to appreciate beta listeners more and more.

Non-podfic:
Volume I of Peter Kropotkin's autobiography Memoirs of a Revolutionist (7h 30 min). Volume 2 is underway.
First off, some statistics:
- Total podfic output: 26 h 50 min (34 podfics). This is less than last year's 42 h 19 min (73 podfics), but counting the Librivox stuff I've actually recorded about 39 hours this year, so it's about the same. (I'm only counting my part of the long collaboration.)
- 16 different fandoms are represented (as opposed to 44 last year).
- 14 out of 34 podfics are longer than one hour (as opposed to nine out of 73 last year).
- 9 h 48 min (37%) of the podfic recording time is due South and C6D.
- The recording time is 54% slash, 36% gen, 10% het, and no femslash.
- 31% of the recording time is from a female POV.
