So, I am back in civilization for 24 hours or so. It was awesome up in the mountains, and I would gladly have stayed longer. In fact, I'm probably going back next summer. Right now, I'm at the main scientific station up here, and there is Internet! (Um, obviously.) It's kind of weird here right now, since for some reason the crown princess of Sweden is here on some kind of official visit. I'm trying to keep out of the way.

Tomorrow I'm leaving to do forest inventories for a couple of days. I'll get back for real at the beginning of next week, and then I'll do some kind of report with pictures and stuff.

I got lots of writing done up there, which is awesome. For example, I did lots of beta revision on my Depot story, and my long Maggie/Frannie story is pretty much done, except for an action scene which so far refuses to be written. *sigh* Also, is anyone up for a beta of 1500 words of Bob/Caroline (set in the universe as my story Shifting, where Caroline is a werewolf)? There's no hurry with the beta.
