Podfic + random other stuff
Sep. 11th, 2009 10:40 amI recorded a podfic of one of the badfics from the
ds_flashfiction: The Meg Thatcher Chronicles, Chapter 47: The Sultry Super-Spy of Canada meets Bond, James Bond, by
mizface. It was a lot of fun, and a nice break from the big podfic project I am otherwise working on.
In other news, I am fine. Lots of stuff going on at work, and for once I am doing productive research. It's amazing what a deadline will do for you. I also bought myself a stereo microscope (the difference from an ordinary microscope being that you can look at things in 3D, and they don't have to be thin and translucent. It doesn't magnify as much, though.) I'm working my way through the bryophytes I collected up in the mountains. Also, I went and got myself an hour's back massage from a professional masseur, and it was so worth it. I've been stiff lately, and that massage was like being in heaven.
Does anyone have a favorite brownie recipe they would like to share with me? In Sweden we have something called "kladdkaka" (= sticky-cake) which is somewhat like, but also different from brownies. And I would like to try making brownies, as well. Just for the sake of experiment, of course.
For now, please comment at the LJ entry.
