Christmas status update

luzula1) I will probably not get around to digging seriously into Yuletide until after the New Year, because I am prioritizing getting through my bryophyte and lichen backlog before the year is over. I will triumph over my rival! I also have to graaaaade exams, which is less fun.
2) I spent Christmas with only my parents since my sister has started to do the every-other-year thing with the in-laws. But she and her family are coming here for New Year. Anyway, good food was had; there was a political argument in the morning but then we all pulled together to get along. Will spend more than a week at my their place, so here's hoping we can keep it up. My dad was kind enough to come get me in the car so I could bring my microscope along, which is pretty much the prerequisite for 1).
3) Eeeee, Star Wars soon! I am going with my sister, when she gets here.
