luzulaThis has lingered half-done for a while, but I finally finished it. I don't know why I choose such challenging things to read! But I have got quite a lot of practice switching between French and English pronunciation now. I do think you can listen to this without any more canon knowledge than the general outline of history (Napoleon has just been defeated, the Bourbon king is back, the republicans struggle and make compromises...). I read it that way, at least. : )
