I had a lot of fun this weekend--I went to a meeting with the group of forest environmental activists that I'm a member of. It's a youth organization and I'm kind of getting too old, but I have a hard time staying away.

I also went to a folk music festival and danced for hours: polska (that's different from polka), slängpolska, waltz, and schottische. I actually have an ache in my arms as well as my feet, because these dances are all big on spinning around fast while holding the other person close, which tends to generate a lot of centrifugal force that you have to counteract.

So, I also have a snippet, written in record time for me!
