Snowflake challenge, day 2: recs

artaxastra, read by podcath and crinklysolution (X-Men, Charles/Erik, 1 h 13 min).
This is not actually XMFC fic, but written before that movie came out. It's a bittersweet, wistful story, and the reading and music choice underlines that. It's half present time, half flashback, and it works really well to have it read by two readers.
A Year, More or Less, In the Life bypir8fancier, read by izzady (due South, Ray/Ray, 2 h 9 min)
I hadn't actually read this fic before listening to it, and I'm pretty sure I appreciated it more as a podfic than I would have done by reading it.izzady does a great job of reading both the Rays and drawing you into the story.
Finally, I want to recthingswithwings's kink bingo prizes. I have actually only listened to the Sherlock Holmes one and the Pride and Prejudice one, but if you are not into those fandoms, I'm sure you'll find something else there. Anyway, the reason I'm reccing these is the character voices! So awesome. thingswithwings nails both Sherlock Holmes and Lydia Bennett.
