Reader's notes: Thanks to the author for letting me record this story! It's a favorite of mine and has an original Ray voice which I really enjoyed reading. She also helped me with the pronunciation of the aviation terms; I hope I got them right.

ETA: Okay, I just now remembered that j_s_cavalcante pointed out that I should never pronounce the ending "b" in words like comb and thumb. I'm sure I do this a couple of times in this story, since it was recorded before she told me this, but I just can't bring myself to go back and correct them in this story now when I've posted it. I'll keep it in mind for the next one, though!

Yeah, isn't it an awesome story? In the beginning, I was kind of afraid that recording stories I really love would make me enjoy them less--that I would get tired of them from working too much with the text. But nope, not happening!

Yeah, it was so interesting to read this one--I really enjoyed doing it. I don't know if it sounds different than my last one, but it certainly feels that way when I'm reading. It's so different in tone from "Academic Punk".
