Right, I won a prize for participating in the Generation Kill podfic challenge this summer. The prize is a podbook cover by lunatics_word! I love the black-and-white, minimalistic style of it:

I finally listened to it this morning, and it is just wonderful! I love the story, and your Ray voice is really great. This Ray makes so much sense! And the tie-ins with the series are great but I didn't feel like it was just retelling--more like tons of missing scenes, which was great in a show that's so much show don't tell.

And I agree, the cover image is gorgeous! I was excited to be able to look at it as I was listening.

Oh, thank you! Ray just felt so dynamic to read. The thing is, I'd just finished recording a long fic with a rather low-key character, which was rewarding its own way. And then came Ray Person, and I felt I could act out and have fun. *g*
