Notes: Recorded for the F/F podfic fest at [community profile] audiofemme. This was interesting to read, with all the shifting POV:s and intended audiences--I'm impressed by how the author uses the storytelling techniques of the book. Thanks to [personal profile] boxofdelights for the beta! Er, it's entirely my fault that despite the beta I am still mispronouncing the first vowel of "casual" in this. *facepalm* For reasons that don't need to be explored at this juncture, I couldn't re-record it in time for the deadline. Well, now I know for the future.

Wow! That's grand. You capture the different voices even when they are in reported speech. You make a melodramatic text bearable with your gently applied understatement.

Also the difference between "casually" and "causally" took me decades to get--I could hear but not read them.

Anything read by you is worth listening to, as this reading AMPLY demonstrates.

Thank you!

!!!!! I love this so much.

You read in wonderfully clear and even tones, and yet very expressively, and the difference between the voices in each chapter is subtle but effective. I really appreciate your timing and spacing - the pauses feel long enough to give each segment its full weight but never so long that the listener gets impatient. And the way you inflect the second "only" in Julie's letter is stunning.

I feel so pleased and honored you chose to podfic my story. Thank you again for letting me know about this very cool thing you created.
