I will be AFK until Sunday morning (going to a folk music festival). So if you're trying to reach me, I'm not ignoring you, just away from the internet!

Major house issue resolved as of last night (zomg has that been stressful, and eating up the last three evenings); friend somewhat stabilized & seeing neurologist soon; and I'm taking tomorrow off from work as a personal day. Also, we haz heraldry.

Hey, just briefly checking my email at the festival. Just wanted to let you know that it looks like I will have three further internet-less days next week, probably Wednesday-Friday or Thursday-Saturday (don't quite know yet). It would be great if I could get a draft of the poem on Sunday or Monday, record a draft version of the podfic to send to you, and then while I'm away you can give feedback on my draft, and then when I get back I can make the final version of the podfic. Would that work for you?

Will do my best! Mods say I can have until end of tomorrow to finish my portion if we're still to post during the regular posting period; if not by tomorrow, it's a default that shifts us into 'treat' territory and posting at the end of the sequence.

Once written text to you & you have chance to record a take, I would be happy & delighted to listen to it & give whatever degree / type of recording draft feedback you desire, and three days would be plenty to do that latter in reliably.

Okay! Just let me know how it's going. And if you can't do it now and we post as a treat instead, that's still okay by me. Or, you know, if you have too much going on to do it now at all and we finish it outside the challenge, that would still be fun, too. : )

Hey, I'm back! I did have fun. : ) A lot of my friends were going there, and since I'll be moving soon, I wanted to take the opportunity to spend time with them. There were some good concerts, too, although in general I like concerts more when you sit down to listen and the sound quality is good. This was mostly the rowdy outdoors kind of concerts.

Folk music festival! Which leads me to : I don't know if you've done more than two filk, but the two dS filk of yours that I have encountered are my very favorite filk and I hope you do more.

I have done four filks, I think? Or, hmm, I have written five and recorded four--they're in the story index in my sidebar.

And hey, thanks! I know there's a whole community around filking, which I am not connected to at all. I do enjoy it, though.
