I just got a text message from the shared housing people I thought I was going to live with, and they didn't want me after all. : ( I suppose I shouldn't have assumed too much after meeting up with one of them, but she said they didn't have any other people interested then, and I felt like we connected really well? She said she felt good about it, too. *puzzled* And I really wanted to live out on the islands, too.

Ah well, I suppose a likely scenario is that someone they already knew turned up and wanted to move in. Start over again, I guess. *is a little downcast*

Yeah, well. If it wasn't them finding someone else, I suppose it could've been that they're vegans and decided they didn't want someone who'd keep yoghurt in the house? They seemed okay with that when I talked with them. But if that was going to cause problems, better to know now.
