I did get a lovely Sandra fic for Midsummer Santa, but hey, I'd love more Sandra and Emily fic, so I think I'll nominate and request Wilby Wonderful. Anyone want me to nominate any other Wilby characters? Left to myself, I guess I'd nominate Duck and Dan as well.

So I guess I have two nomination slots left over? Since we have up to six requests this year, though, that means I could theoretically nominate two more things I want to request. Or I could nominate two things I know I can write, since we need five offers this year, and I'm always a bit worried I won't find enough things I can write. I will ponder this further.

On a related note, I just finished watching Papillon. HOW IS THERE NO FIC FOR THIS. You sure weren't lying. I hope someone writes something for it!

Yes, and also really frickin' heartbreaking at the end. I did not know that was coming.

Yeah, heartbreaking is the right word. I had no idea how it was going to end when I watched it, either. I dunno, I choose to believe that Dega got released later and then they both found each other and spent their last years being crotchety old men in love together. Possibly they keep pigs (awww, Dega with the pigs, that was so adorable).

So what are you going to tell your dad about it? g
