I've been meaning for ages to do a poll or something around Fire and Hemlock and the ages people are when they come to it, because my working hypothesis is that if you come to it as a teenager (as I did) it makes perfect emotional sense to you and doesn't gross you out at all, and if you come to it as an adult it's like AGHHHH NO!
