YAY!!!

I got my dream job this summer! I'll be working for a month at a research station in the far north of Sweden. I was there last summer visiting a friend who worked there, and sort of fell in love with the place. It's a valley at about a thousand meters altitude, and the work consists of hiking around the mountains doing whatever field work they need to have done. It could be operating a weather measurement station, doing botanical inventories, measuring snow depth as it melts away, etc. Apparently I'll get to do some rock climbing for a project on cliff ecology, as well. No internet (or phones or electricity for that matter), but I'm sure I can cope with that.
