Fix things Friday

Uh, I haven't done this in over a month. So I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff I did, but OTOH I also spent time on vacation from activism. Anyway, here's stuff I remember doing (a lot of it is fairly recent stuff):

- Nagging at people to sign meeting minutes.
- Using those minutes when I FINALLY got all the signatures (which took six weeks...), for sending in paperwork to give myself access to the union's bank account (mwahaha! er, no, it's just for backup administration).
- Helping to find three new people to do part-time administration at the union, which we succeeded at!
- Went to an introductory meeting with the three new administrators and have been helping to sort things out as they get into the work.
- Went to two board meetings of the union, both of which I wrote minutes for and one of which I prepared the agenda for.
- Wrote up August newsletter for the union.
- Donated fairly large chunks of money to the strike funds of the two current labor conflicts in Sweden (one is dockers in Gothenburg and the other is sanitation workers in Stockholm).
- Spent five days doing inventories of vascular plants in northern Sweden (not activism as such, but it's for science?)
- Spent five days doing inventories of threatened forests in northern Sweden.
- Sent out call for contributions to the next newsletter of the environmental org.
- Wrote up a press release for the environmental org.
- Eeeeeemailed a lot. And also talked on the phone with people, which is sometimes better.
