1. I have a cold + menstrual pains.

2. I'm trying to get a newly bought wireless card to work on my computer. So far no luck. I managed to get the right drivers, and it now gives me a list of various wireless networks to connect to. But I just can't connect! Right now I've been down by the router in the basement for hours, connecting with a cable and surfing various Linux message boards in search of a solution. And now, of all things, the keyboard is acting up, and I have to type v e r y s l o w l y or else all the letters don't make it onto the screen. FUCK.

Having lots of experience with how frustrating computers and their associated networks can be, may I suggest you take a step back and relax for a bit?

When you get frustrated, you start making mistakes and often you miss the little things that make the difference.

Yeah, I did take a break. j_s_cavalcante's Desiderata did a pretty good job of curing my frustration (if not, alas, my network connectivity problems). And restarting appears to have fixed the weird keyboard thing.
