Fix things Friday

In the last two weeks, I have:

- gone to the annual members' meeting of an organization which provides democratically controlled email to its members,
- held an introductory meeting for new union members,
- attended a board meeting of the union,
- written and sent out the May newsletter for the union,
- gone to another city to explore a possible research project about forest and climate,
- co-written an op-ed about forest and climate but then didn't sign it (ha, I am now a ghostwriter),
- read an EU scientific report about forest issues, and then wrote and sent out a press release from my environmental org with our comments about it,
- finished the draft of the environmental org newsletter and sent it off to the layout person (this is much longer than the union newsletter, which is only one page),
- called around to various people and then set up the date for the tree climbing camp this summer,
- eeeemaaaailed a lot.
