(FYI, you seem to have hit the same issue I keep tripping over, where AO3 makes the link but doesn't send a related-works notification. It's either that you have to preview before saving, or not preview before saving, I can never remember which. Anyway, obviously I saw this post, so it's all good. :) Looking forward to listening!)
