Thank you for all your posts; it's good to know I'm not alone. It was the first thing I saw this morning, and then I had to rush off to teaching and work, when what I really wanted was to stop and let it sink in.

I am so glad I wrote her a letter a few years ago to tell her how much her books had meant to me through the years.

rushthatspeaks quoted Stammersong, which I also love. I set that to music years ago, here is a recording I just made (although it's not a particularly good recording; my nose is a little stuffy for understandable reasons).

I feel with you! The news really threw a dark cloud over this day. I hope she is some place awesome now. One of my friends set up a charity in her memory a few hours ago and I'm guessing she isn't the only one to do so. I think all of Twitter, and most of the rest of the internet, (rightfully) has been in mourning all day.

Your recording is lovely! Hope you're feeling better emotionally tomorrow and the day after that.
