A Christmas present from my dad. This was not what I expected--it's a philosophical and ethical meditation on what extinction means, as told through various example species. And it's a philosophy that tries to dig down into the messy specifics rather than find abstractions. I liked it. Also, it is weirdly relevant to the ent fic I just posted...
