My brain is fertile, apparently

Ouch, I think I'm starting to have more ideas than I know what to do with. I never used to have this problem before--I had just enough story ideas that I could keep up with writing them.

I have two WIPs that are close to completion now, and after them, my next project was going to be starting a Fraser/Kowalski/Smithbauer story. But while I was biking to work, I was hit hard with an idea for a Fraser/Victoria story. I've never felt like taking on that pairing before, but now I've got an AU idea that I really like, and I think it could work.

Hmm, which to write. On the one hand, F/K/S would give me the chance to write porn, which I haven't done in a while. OTOH, the Fraser/Victoria idea is currently at the stage where I'm kind of mesmerized by the shiny newness of it.

Also, I have a half-done long podfic. Arrgh, the lack of time. : (

Okay, I should get back to my actual paid work now.

Ooooh! I'd love to see you tackle Fraser/Victoria. I think you'd do a lovely job of it. Although, porn. Hmmmm. It's a tricky decision.

And good luck on finishing that podfic. I can't wait to hear it!

It is a tricky decision! But I think I won't let myself start either of them before I finish and post one of the almost-finished WIPs. Maybe it'll motivate me.

And I should be able to finish the podfic this month, at least. I think you'll like my choice of fic. : )

that's an AWESOME place to be, luzula! yay for lots of ideas, though i guess anti-yay for no time. STILL. i look forward to porn, your take on victoria AND podfic.

ETA: also, you reminded me that i've been wanting to post the deleted scene from MY victoria story, so maybe i'll do that today. \o/

*nods* I had an idea at the weekend for turning one of my microfics into a snippety type scene. Now it's grown in my head to a much fuller story, but I'm beginning to worry that it's getting too big to write....

Well, getting new ideas is really cool. It's like I can feel the idea taking root in my head, and then it grows, and scenes in the story play out in my head...and then, of course, it can be a year until it's done. : ( Still, I love that first flush of excitement.

And I did some podficcing today! That, at least, isn't something you can get stuck on (well, unless you have trouble with your voice).

I saw your deleted scene! I'm excited about reading it, though I'll probably save it until tomorrow, because I'm too tired tonight to appreciate it properly.
