"external expert" definitely sounds more appropriate for "let's take a meeting with these gov't officials." That's not to say you wouldn't make a good "sidekick" when you pull black scarves over your faces and run wild sabotaging equipment (sssshhhh, I won't mention it.) -- Can you poke your friendship networks for a new roomie?
