The Utopia of Rules: On Technology, Stupidity, and the Secret Joys of Bureaucracy by David Graeber (2015)
Graeber continues very enjoyable. Even when I think he's probably wrong, he's entertaining and unpredictable. Like, he answers the question "why don't we have flying cars and anti-gravity boots?" with "because in the 60's-70's the capitalists realized Marx was right about the falling rate of profit and stopped investing in technology research". Which is at least very funny. My kneejerk answer would be "come on, anti-gravity boots are not actually possible...", which answer Graeber discards to go looking for a more interesting one.

Raya by Henrik Johansson (2018, only in Swedish)
About a labor conflict at an industrial bakery, through the eyes of a young woman whose mom and step-father also work there, the step-father as a middle manager. So it's cut through by family dynamics as well. This was so good! It's got very tense plotting and takes place over just two days, and it's a real page-turner. Recommended!
