WTF, search engine fail...

On searching for "can the Oich be forded" in DuckDuckGo, as in, can you reasonably cross the River Oich on foot without a bridge (obviously for fic research), the search engine assumes that I actually want to search for "can the rich be forced". And it's not about the rich being forced to pay their taxes. No, all the results are porn. *boggles*

Er, that is not what I wanted. Although an actually relevant result was probably too much to hope for...

Sweden has some pretty great names for streams, as well. In my county, we have Slafsan, Dofsan and Nossan. They probably don't convey the same thing if you don't speak Swedish, but if you do, they sound kind of like drooling puppies.

Obviously search engines ought to understand that fic research is the most important thing and optimise for it, but that is a particularly strange bit of misinterpretation o_O Hope you manage to find an answer!

Well, it only needed to change two letters, so maybe not that strange! Actually I thought it was more strange that it thought the only thing people could conceivably want to force the rich to do was to have sex...

ETA: Oh, and I ended up just assuming it can be forded, since there's a ford on the Lochy, and it's the same water system...
