OMG, finished!

I have finished the draft of my current Flight of the Heron longfic, at 69,240 words, and sent the last parts to my beta-readers!

This is probably the most ambitious thing I've ever written--certainly length-wise, but also plot-wise. *feels very accomplished*

Awww, thanks! It feels like it should be up your alley? But I know the whole pandemic thing has been playing havoc with people's reading habits (and many other things, obviously...). Or maybe you got stuck for some other reason?

It really is up my alley! But it was a combination of the pandemic (I couldn't concentrate on fiction and just read nonfiction for a while) and then, other shinier things to read.

Well, there are a lot of works now--we've gone from nine works in the fandom to 33 in half a year! But I can see why you'd want to reread the book before reading the fic.
