This book was so disappointing because I know she can do better. At the same time, I have to admit that there are aspects of how Alison is described in FotH which I have kind of ignored, sigh (in favor of writing my own version).
My one-sentence synopsis of Mr Rowl is somewhat simplified (obviously), and there are also other things going on in it. But yes, I do recommend it!
