Aww, I hope you got some cat cuddling out of it, at least. (Or maybe that is just an idiom and you're not talking about an actual cat…) Anyway, good job getting the alibi transcription in!

She's a literal cat. :-) She plopped herself on my writing notebook and wouldn't get off. So I gently extracted my notebook and went to another room, whereupon she followed me and planted herself on my notebook again. I picked the notebook up in the air, even, trying to gently dissuade her, and she stayed right where she was, as if it was a flying carpet. At which point I decided writing obviously wasn't meant to be, and gave in and cuddled the cat for the rest of my lunch break.

Awww, cat cuddling! I'm currently living with a dog, who sometimes sits beside me on the couch and does the nose maneuver, which consists of putting his nose under my arm and then twisting his head round so that my hand ends up where it properly should be, that is, petting him instead of doing boring things on the computer...
