On Day 11, I completed that horror drabble for the open call, formatted it (the guidelines were very specific, so it took a bit of fiddling), wrote the email and bio, and submitted it all. *crosses fingers*

11 December - 275 words on a different WIP, and some notes about the one I've been working on. Also spent much of the day reading along and encouraging a friend to finish a piece they were working on, with success.

We've been having wonky/no internet for a few days, often cutting off just when I was about to post/comment to something. Currently waiting for the technician...
Day 8: 400 for WIP #3 (kept only a few of them, though)
Day 9: 519 for WIP #3 and a blog entry
Day 10: 632 several reviews + WIP #3 (deleted and wrote new words again)
Day 11: 277 for WIP #3; I'm back to drafting as the chapter is kind of stuck. Or was stuck, it feels less so right now. I also spent a lot of time experimenting with Scrivener's option to compile a finished ebook right out of the document, and re-formatting one of my larger multi-part drawer works to try this out with and see how well the index with the divisions and subdivisions turns out. (Result: different layers work fine, but I haven't yet figured out how to get rid of the default chapter titles on them. *g* )
