I just sat down to blitz out my entire Yuletide assignment in ~3k words over the last six hours, so yes, I feel like I got some good writing done today. One of these years maybe I'll actually start my assignment earlier than the day it's due, but this is obviously not that year.

17 December -- 180 ish words on beta comments for a friend. I also did some set up and thinking/research/etc for Yuletide drabbles. Hopefully Ill have some wordcount for those coming up.

Sorry for falling off the planet these last days, I've been super busy with mod duties and making Christmas presents. I didn't really manage to focus on my WIP, too, altough I wrote a line or two on two days, but I was quite productive with the "learn how to use Scrivener better and how to have it compile a finished ebook, and admittedly spent all my writing time editing one of my larger drawer projects accordingly as I'm using this as a test object. So "writing" did happen every day, days 13-18, and at least a handful of fiction words either, although I didn't count them.

Thanks! I feel like I have leveled up in writing productivity over the past few years, and it spilled over on Yuletide, as well. : )

It sounds like you've had a lot on your plate, congrats on making some writing happen every day anyway!

Day 18: I was travelling today, and decided to try your method of writing on the train—I'm afraid it doesn't really agree with me, but I did manage to make a start on the re-drafting of chapter 5. And posted the JSMN fic!

Perhaps I find it easier to ignore noise than you do? For me, the Internet is the great distraction, and I can't access it on public transport…

On Day 18, I added 303 words to the "outline," which in this case was a partial scene, mostly dialogue, that comes later in the book, well past the part I've gotten up to so far with the rest of the outline. Still, it wanted to be written, and it came in loud and clear, so no complaints here.
