I'm resurfacing after busy and mostly good holidays spent with assorted family compositions, and at least some alibi words written on those days. Today I'm busy writing letters or long messages to friends, which I'm totally counting as writing. At least part of this is about writing, so there. ^^ I've given up temporarily on my WIP in the days leading up to Christmas as I didn't have brainspace for them, but am resuming serious writing work today again once I'm done with the letters. ^^
Day 21: 230 words of drawer fic
Day 22: 25 words (alibi sentence)
Day 23: 112 words of drawer fic
Day 24: 37 words (alibi sentence)

Whew, yeah, I know how you feel! My sister's family with small kids left today, and now everything is peace and quiet...well, at least until Mom comes back from her walk with the puppy.

We are okay here. We are snowed in because our plow person hasn’t been able to get to us yet, but the driving ban was only lifted this morning, so I’m sure he’s got his hands full with other clients. Otherwise, we did not lose power at all, thankfully, and while we are still getting snow, the wind has mostly died down, so the greatest hazard has passed, I think. *hugs* and I am so sorry that I caused you worry!

26 December - 712 -- one more drabble for Yuletide, a fourth for the madness thing that didn't want to stop at 3; and 600+ on a new Companions bit, still in the ame timeframe as all the recent work has been, as well as some notes.

I am glad you had such an excellent Yuletide! I was only treating, but there is So Much to read, I am not feeling the least deprived :-)
