Day 29: 1,000 words on linguistics sci fantasy.

Day 30: alibi songwriting.

Time is just running away from me these days and I keep forgetting to check in - but then again we don't usually see so many people in such short time which always leaves me overcommunicated and "socially exhausted", no matter how lovely it is. And lovely it was!
Day 28: 172 words, mostly nonfic plus the odd new word while editing a chapter of the Nostalgia project
Day 29: 1,9k - about half of it nonfic again, and 946 words for a shining new scene for the Nostalgia project. The flow of words runneth again. ^^

On Day 30, I remembered I still hadn't done any writing quite late in the evening (for me), so I just now added 161 words, this time to the very first chapter of the novel, which has been a single paragraph and some bullet points of an outline since I started this project. (I ended up writing full chapters circa chapter 3, but the first two were just skeletal.) Anyway, I'm still hoping to get to 160K for the year, but that will mean writing 5K tomorrow. We'll see...

It is a secret, I'm afraid!—it's something I would have tried to write for Yuletide if I'd had more time, and am now planning to post as a NYR. So you will hear more of it eventually :)

It is! I have my outline and I have my beginning, and we'll see what it takes to finish it off. I'll probably do what I did with Lost Honour and work on it interleaved with other things -- that's the reason Lost Honour took three years to finish, but eh, things still do get finished that way, and with less frustration on my part than if I nose-to-the-grindstone it.

Is it okay if I hit you up with some research questions as I go?
