Cracky dreams + Bitching Party

So tonight I had a dream that was a crossover of the Star Trek: TOS episode The Enemy Within (where Kirk is duplicated) and that prompt over at
ds_kinkmeme where someone requests F/K sex with multiple versions of Ray K. Wow, cracky.
I've been watching a couple of episodes of Star Trek: TOS with some friends. I'd never seen a single episode of Star Trek before, so it's quite interesting, but it doesn't make me feel fannish at all. It's more like "Earthlings made this in the sixties, and now I am studying it", or something. Huh.
In other news, boyfriend likes Generation Kill, and even he admits that the slashiness is cute. We are now watching it together, so I'm on my second viewing. And mmmm, so much good fic. \o/
Augh, tomorrow is the sign-up day for Bitching Party. Who is going? I think I'm going, but apparently I'm still angsting about it.
Arguments for going: Meet fangirls. Meet RL friends in Seattle (I lived there for two years as a kid). Go hiking on the Olympic Peninsula (or somewhere else, I don't know yet).
Arguments against going: Social anxiety. CO2 emissions.
Also, randomly (wow, this is a random post): how cool is it that Child Ballads is a Yuletide fandom? I think that is pretty cool.
For now, please comment at the LJ entry.

Ona random note, it must've been the night for strange media-based dreams. Mine had Brian from Queer as Folk in a starring role, being that combo of asshole/nice guy that only he can do.
