Day 1: I started with the aforementioned polishing and draft-condensing of that one Nostalgia project fic, ending up with 265 words. It went well - much better than most days last month /o\ - but most of yesterday's work was looking through the amount of files I had and find the parts I want to keep. I don't remember why but I saved this several times with slightly different header parts/titles, although the story body is more or less identical. Thankfully, I don't want to keep any of these, just the original idea and setting, so I can now focus on writing the new draft.

I pulled out one of my much-neglected stories and I think figured out why it got so stuck. The last last chapter has been completely dismantled and rearranged and a new paragraph inserted to take it in a new direction.

Dec 2nd - 1387 words! I had another surprising day. My usual 4 Monday double drabbles, and then I finished the fic I started yesterday, which ended up being longer than I'd thought it would be.

That's definitely a win! I managed to do about 400 words of notes, which is more than I've done recently.

Yes, it is. It began as something I was writing for personal catharsis and grew into something else. It's not my usual style or subject, but I am enjoying it for a given value of that word. ;-)
