Date: 2024-12-09 12:19 pm (UTC)I'm currently following the same approach - no pressure, just write something creative every day while I deal with my exhausting ToDo list side by side with a low-grade migraine. I'm also trying to develop a routine for a sustainable word count, inspired by your otherwise usual 500 words a day. Having all those months - over a year, actually - of around 2k every day was exhilarating, but I knew, of course, that this isn't sustainable, and also depends on the movitation which isn't always that high. After it was interrupted by our long trip in August (where I wrote but not half as much) I found it difficult to get into a better rhythm, so this is now one of my writing goals.
Day 8: 583 words, mostly for the drawer WIP.

It was almost nothing tonight, though — I've got two main plots going at the moment, and I needed to find a scene that wasn't part of either one of those, which also meant I needed to find a scene that didn't use the majority of my characters! I finally had an idea for a scene, and an alibi sentence grew into several alibi sentences. Hopefully tomorrow will go better.
