Today, I finally wrote our 2024 holiday note, which we put into our cards, which means now I have to actually write the cards. *sighs* Still, that's 291 words for the day. I think I'll break 150K for the year, and I am pleased with that.

Good work writing! I won't quite break 150K this year, but 135-140K isn't bad either.

Ugh, titles! Why are they so hard?

Dec 15th - 893 words, a triple drabble and some work on the challenge fic I started yesterday. I have some idea of where I'm going, but while I know what's happening, I don't know why yet, or how my characters are going to fix the problem. Maybe I'll figure it out if I sleep on it.

Right? I can never come up with ones I like.

I think I maybe have two titles (out of over 3k fics in various fandoms) that I really like *sigh* My favourite is 'Getting to Nose You', one of the early fics about my friendly alien Nosy the Fluff. I like puns, lol!

I think I've got a title now! And I hope sleep brings some inspiration for the story...

Days 13 and 14: Alibi sentences
Day 15: ~800 words to finish up my yuletide fic, and another couple hundred words for an rp thing, and hopefully I'll get some more words on fffx before I sleep tonight...

Titles are the worst! (Unless it's one of those rare cases where the whole thing starts from the title, then titles are the best.)

Day 15: 485 words of the next chapter of "You can tell..." Jeongyeon's redemption arc hasn't started yet — I've decided she's going to have to languish at rock bottom for a while. Right now a group of her friends (well, technically her ex-girlfriend's friends) have met up for lunch and are enjoying not having her around.

Having characters languish at rock bottom for a while can be satisfying! Well done with the writing. Also, I've got a title now!

I think it's going to be kind of fun putting Jeongyeon through the wringer — I don't think she's realized yet that she's hit rock bottom (being a playgirl and fashion model, she'll have the means at hand to delude herself for a while).
