21st: finished my treat, and then spent hours and hours editing it. Srsly, that's all I've done today. Just sent it to beta. *dissolves into a puddle*

Heh, if you spent hours and hours editing it, that's hardly nothing!

I added 307 to "Ed and Ev...," some of which words I added into the first chapter. I realized before I can write the ending, I need to "seed through" some details I've left out because of the way I wrote this story. Since it started as a short story and turned into a novella, the pacing is off, and in order to make the ending more poignant, I need to first create tension that didn't exist before, if that makes sense? Anyway, it's an avoidance technique, but it will also make the ending better. So, that's where I am.

ETA: This is for Day 21! Sorry! :-)

Apparently the words were in there, they just needed another day to cook. 600 words last night and I now know where this part of the story is going.
