Dec 11th - 1372 words. an expanded 1character sentence, a Doctor Who drabble, some work on two unfinished fics, a triple and a quadruple drabble. One of those bitty days, but bits add up.

Some of my days do seem to end up like that... But all the little things add up, so it's good, and progress on many fronts, so I can't complain if my brain wants to play hopscotch across a few projects. At least it's generating words, right?

I had meant to get vaccinated for some time, and finally had to go into town only for that purpose to get it done.

I got my flu vaccine late this year because I had a bad cold for a couple of weeks and was told to wait until I'd been free of symptoms for 3 days, but I'm not eligible for a covid booster. The UK sucks.

I wasn't eligible for a free vaccination for either flu or covid, but I could pay to get them.

I don't get my flu one free, but I can't find anywhere I can get a Covid vaccine, now that Covid is supposedly 'over' according to the most of the country. Makes me wish I was a few years older and therefore eligible. *sigh*

On Day 11, I attempted to write our annual holiday card poem, but I only got 168 words done, many of them in footnotes to the actual poem. I'll hack away at it tomorrow or over the weekend. For whatever reason, the words don't want to flow. *sighs*

I read about the Incident of The Boar. Wow! Pity about the waste of the boar (and how it died), but I'm sure the eagles and vultures have appreciated you leaving it out for them! Especially with winter coming on.

No vultures in Sweden! : ) I think probably the buzzard is the bird of prey most likely to find and eat it. But yes, I think they will appreciate it.
