Oh, Luz. EEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the incredibly generous and thoughtful gift. I can't tell you how exciting this is, and how much this means to me!! I'm getting it now, and will save it for a little bit later today, when I have some time to take a walk and listen.

And yes, I also owe you for giving me another fun obsession to add to the collection. :)

I still haven't seen that movie! But I am more than halfway through the original canon for Sherlock Holmes. I'm more of a reader than a watcher, obviously. But I will totally watch it someday, because from what I've seen from vids, Jude-Law-as-Watson makes me weak in the knees.

Anyway, the Sherlock Holmes podfic is based on book canon, and you could read the short story "A Scandal In Bohemia", where Irene Adler is introduced, if you want some background. It's not that long. And I think you'd like the podfic--a lot of the story is about music (no singing, though).

I have no idea how understandable the M&C one is if you haven't read the canon. But I have a huge love for those books, and am happy to spread that love!

I just wanted to thank you for recording this. Astolat is one of my fave authors in fanfic, and I love this story. I've been hoping against hope that someone would eventually record it, and lo, it is you! You did a FANTASTIC job. Your voice is perfect, and I hope you continue to record. I also loved your Thoughts Without Words. Any additional recordings you do, especially of Astolat's fic, will be instantly downloaded by yours truly. When I have migraines, I can't read, but I can listen to your lovely smooth voice with no problem. You really have an amazing talent. I would love to hear some of Astolat's Merlin stories, if you are looking for requests! Am off to listen to Thoughts for the third time...

Hey, thanks! I'm so glad you appreciate the podfics, and the encouragement means a lot to me.

I'm not likely to record any Merlin fics (not my fandom), but I do have at least one other Astolat fic on my to-record list. : )
